Progesterone Prescription

Holly

Has anyone had difficulty getting their insurance to cover a prescription for progesterone pills? I was on clomid for 3 months and had my levels tested on CD21 each month. After my last progesterone test, my doctor said my progesterone level was 13 and if I got pregnant that cycle he would need to prescribe progesterone to help support the pregnancy. I am now 6 weeks pregnant and my pharmacy said my insurance won’t cover the prescription. It’s $200 out of pocket and I just have a hard time paying that. I also don’t want $200 to determine if this will end in a miscarriage. 😔 I don’t know what to do.
