Should parents punish kids who get bad grades?
Where I grew up it was really common for kids to get punished at home for getting bad grades. Grounded, spanked, yelled at, etc. School was relatively easy for me and I got good grades for the most part. However, if there was a subject I struggled in, it wasn’t because I wasn’t trying.
Do you think it’s right to punish kids who receive bad grades, or does it depend on why their grades are bad?
