These always have a line when taken apart. Don't take the test apart unless it's a cassette with dip strip inside!!! Try retesting with a New Choice brand it's from dollar tree those can be taken apart and are about 1.06 and come in handy to just buy a bunch :) just as accurate

Do you have a picture of it when it was not torn apart? Because I believe tests become invalid once you tear them apart
