Cat acting differently? Pregnant

Question

My cat has been sleeping on my stomach every night the last week and he never used to. I've had alot of symptoms this moth. Period is due in 3 days. Hopefully he has some intuition.
Did your pets act differently when you were pregnant?

You hear about cats sensing when people are going to die in nursing homes and such.  I'm sure it's possible they can sense a baby aswell. Good luck x

Some animals can sense the hormone change. Some will react by being extra affectionate, but some will react in a negative way and be more aggressive with you. A friend of mine had two cats. One would be very affectionate and not leave her alone. The other would swat at her every time she'd go to pet her.
When I was pregnant, my kitten, who never showed any real interest in me, would not leave me alone. It got so bad that when I'd be asleep in my room with my SO and the door was closed, she'd cry and cry until I came out of the room. Our other cats couldn't give two shits about me, but she was ALL OVER ME! Lol After I lost the baby, she went back to being her indifferent towards me self.

When I was younger and my mom was pregnant with my youngest sibling all of our three dogs knew and they protected and guided her (even though she was safe in our home) and never left her side. I feel like sometimes pets know and it's a possibility. But I'm also not sure since pregnant people talk about being scared of their pets acting from shock and lack of attention when they bring the baby home and the dog realizes what's going on.

You never know! Some animals can smell cancer cells, why not a baby?! They are pretty intuitive!

If I hadn't just found out, my exes dog would have been indication. He dug through a heap of laundry, grabbed my dirty undies, and ran away with them. He always had his head in my crotch. He also got super protective of me, even against his own owner.

I have two and they haven't been different at all. I'm 34 wks, I also had fewer symptoms the month I got my positive than all the previous months symptom spotting. It's frustrating but try not to let it take over you're whole life. When you finally fall pregnant, it will anyways lol

I don't know if it's true or my pets just don't care. I have a cat and dog and the amount of times they've tried jumping on my stomach is ridiculous. I have to guard my tummy now whenever I see them about to jump up.
