TTC right after getting off BC?

Question

I just got off BC 3 weeks ago and have read that ovulation can be delayed for months or even years. AF arrived a few days after stopping the pill and I'm supposed to be ovulating this week. I know it could take a while for my body to adjust, but has anyone conceived the month after getting off BC? I'm just curious :)

I was on the pill for 10 years, and it was pregnant the month after I went off it. It wasn't a successful pregnancy, but it is definetly possible.

I fell pregnant first cycle after finishing BC pill (ended in chemical pregnancy though) so it is possible. I'm onto fertile week of 2nd cycle after that MC and hoping for a BFP! Good luck x

I became pregant 2 months after stopping the pill but that ended in a miscarriage. Best of luck to you!

Hi Sarah. I've been off BC for 7 months this week. AF been regular ever since, positive OPKs but no BFP for me yet. I'm guessing after 14 years on BC my body is still trying to flush it out. Good luck x

I come off the depo 5th june this n just got my first af back after 2 years x

Im on my 7th month off BC. I'm ovulating but no pregnancy yet. Some people do get pregnant their 1st month off though, so it is possible.

No BFP for me yet, I was on BC for 13 years. Stopped in May .  Had 1 cycle that was 31d... And now I'm on cd 50 with no AF. I have had some spotting as well. In the end, it is a roller coaster as my cycle hasn't regulated yet, unsure of when I ovulate or if I do, unsure of when and if to test.  So my advice is start tracking cm and bbt now so you have some more insight into your cycle. It is certainly possible to get pregnant right away, it is also possible to have irregular cycles. All the best to you!
