Does your SO go to your OB appts with you?

My husband is a marine so he cant go to everything but he goes when he can! I hate the doctors so he knows I love the support!

Mine came to all of mine up to my anatomy scan. After that my appointments have only been about 5 minutes so there’s really no point of him taking off to come with me. The only one after my anatomy scan that he came to was an NST that I had to have due to a lot of BH contractions. I’ll have my 37 week tomorrow and I don’t think he’s coming. Lol. I don’t really ask him in advance. All depends on what his schedule is for the day.

Yes, all of them. We purposefully schedule them when it works for both of us (haven’t had to miss any work yet) and it saves me from having to repeat what was said. He’s also good at being my advocate and asking questions when I don’t (either because I forgot to became too nervous). Plus, our midwife always lets us hear the heartbeat :)

Mine goes to about half of them with me.  Partly because they are in the middle of a work day, i just hop over to the appointment and go back to work.

He has came to the ultrasounds and first few appointments.  The recent ones have been so quick it would be a waste for his to leave work.  He will probably come again towards the end...

He came to pretty much all my appointments with my first because he was working evenings. He's only made it to one appointment with our daughter (24w6d today) because he's driving a semi now and not always able to come. He wants to and I want him to, but specifically requesting or asking off doesn't always work.

Mine only came for appointments with ultrasounds. My other appointments are 5 minutes tops and I don’t see why I should make him take off work for that.

My OB never has appointments past 4pm so my partner usually can't leave work, but he has been to an ultrasound.

As much as he can, thankfully he went from long haul driving to local so I have high hopes.
