IUI experiences?

Share your IUI experience! We will be doing IUI w/ Clomid this cycle after my husband's morphology only went up to 1% normal after being 100% abnormal. I'm feeling hopeful, but trying not to get my hopes up too high because I feel like our chances are still slim.

I did 3 IUI’s with clomid and the first two failed, just tested a week ago and got a positive on the 3rd try. They upped my clomid each try.

We did two IUIs with Clomid and Ovidrel. Each worked for us, but we lost our first. Now I have an incredible, wild, 18 month old baby girl!  Good luck to you!

All 3 of my IUI with Chlomid and ovadril all failed.  We started the IVF process and end up getting pregnant on our own the week before starting  Medicine to boost egg count... The same thing also happened to a close friend of mine 3 failed IU I's went through IVF process had eggs taken out sent away for genetic testing and got them back ready for implantation found out she was already pregnant.  I think for us just thinking that we were gonna have to do IVF and not stressing about having to get pregnant on our own actually got us pregnant on our own  Because of stress reduction.  So try to relax maybe mixed IU I's with acupuncture and good luck.

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant after one round of IUI with Clomid and Ovidrel. My husband and I TTC for 2.5 years without any luck so we needed a little boost. I feel thankful and blessed that it happened the first time, as I know it’s not all that common. I have a newfound respect for couples who go through the IVF process. Good luck to you!

My dear friend had three pregnancies through IUI after a number of attempts (about three per pregnabcy). She had a miscarriage and two sons in the end. It is a long road that requires patience since the odds are low. I had two IUIs that failed which prepared me for IVF which worked first try.

I am on my third IUI w/ Clomid. I started out at 50mg and this round they put me on 150mg, hoping this works. It is emotional and the side effects suck, but the end result will be so special. Good luck!

Aw good luck! My first IUI was successful but sadly ended in a MC at 9 weeks. The last two IUI's with clomid and trigger ended in a BFN. My husband and I are doing our first cycle with injectables. Most likely I won't do the IUI. My husband doesn't have any issues in that department so we will wait and see how this works out. Baby dust!
