Embryo donation/ Egg Donor Experiences?

Hey everyone,
Today we got the devastating news that I’m in menopause and have no reserve...all at the age of 26. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for two years. We were about to begin our first IUI and my doc decided to test my hormones. We would have never thought this would be the case of our infertility....originally it was due to my husband’s morphology and count. 
So, we were told due to my Ovarian Assessment Report (FSH 86, AMH 0.3, and calculated egg reserve being the lowest at 1) that invitro isn’t an option now. 
Our choices now fall into egg donor and embryo donation. Anyone have experiences with either of these? Pros/cons? We are leaning towards embryo donation as of right now.

I have donated eggs to a friend and it's a wonderful experience. It's hard because it's a little time consuming but overall simple in nature. his little boy is almost 6 months and honestly I don't feel a connection other than being an "Aunt". if you know someone who would do this for you, I think it would be worthwhile to explore.

Not to give you false hope but my friend (at 35) with the same numbers as you is now 14 weeks.  
At age 26 I would think that if you have any eggs at all odds are good that it would be a viable egg.  Not sure why your RE wasn’t willing to try at least a couple IUIs with injectable stims for you.

I am currently scheduled for my first attempt at donor embryos on April 4th. I'm 39 and have gone the iui, ivf route with no success due to DER. If you are open to a non genetic child, it's worth looking into. if $$ isn't an option and or you have insurance coverage, other routes may be attainable,  but for us and $40,000 later, Embryo donation was our next route.

Sometimes for women in your situation clinics will do multiple IVF cycles back to back in order to get as many eggs as possible before you have no reserves.... you may still get the same response from a different doctor, but if you can it’s certainly worth trying....
I have looked into egg donation: to donate to my brother. For the receiving couple I think it comes down to price. Embryo adoption is far cheaper than Egg donation:
Embryo adoption: adoption frees, frozen embryo transfer costs
Egg donation: full IVF cycle, frozen embryo transfer costs
