Is anyone else's husband not excited for the baby stages?

My husband loves our kids to death, don't get me wrong. But he keeps saying how he isn't ready for all the baby stuff lol the crying, pooping, etc. He wants to just fast forward one ir two years so he can really play with our son 😝 He is so amazing with babies though!

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is teething and potty training again! This is our second child; Adalynn is 5.

I am so lucky.  My husband is not only the best husband, but a fabulous dad!  Not so into the baby pahse though.  He just feels they are fragile. Once they are around a year though...move over mom!  And we are on our eighth.   Some people just aren't 100 percent comfortable with baby-babies.  Don't worry.

My husband isn't into the whke pregnancy thing wasn't with our son either and then really didn't get comfortable until our son was more active walking and such now he's 2 and my husband loves playing w him
I'm sure he is secretly worried bc we are having a girl and I think he isn't sure what to do w a girl haha
