When to first see the doctor...

Hello ladies! I just found out that I’m preggers yesterday morning! 
I’m wondering if it’s ok to not see a doctor until March 13th? (the week after next week)... my husband is away on business next week so I made the appointment for the week after but I’m concerned that’s putting it off for too long.

How far along are you? It's normal to not see a doctor til 8-10weeks. If you found out yesterday you should be fine :)

Most Drs don't need to see you this early. Just start taking prenatals everyday.

I just found out this morning (missed period would start tomorrow), called the doc, and they set me up to see a nurse for pregnancy education at 9-11 weeks (first week of April for me) and to see the doc for the first ultrasound a few weeks after (last week of April). So you should be totally fine waiting. Doc needs you to be far enough along to be able to detect heartbeat.
