Contractions??!!

Anyone else having Braxton hicks contractions yet?  If that's what this is. I feel like every muscle in my stomach tightens!!  It's not painful, just worried as I'm high risk.  This is around the time all of my complications begin!

With my 1st child I had them ALL the time and my dr was sure I wouldn't make it to term yet the day I hit 9mo I didn't have a single after than, not even when they tried to induce me at 2weeks over so I had to have a c section. With this baby I started having contractions the day I hit 16 weeks and I have 3 or 4/day. I'll see my dr on Tuesday and will mention it but I'm not really worried about it.

Mine started at 15 weeks maybe once or twice a day. They subsided a bit at 17 weeks for me and now I get them on occasion.

I am having twins and I have been getting them since 15 weeks. Doctors say it's ok and normal. They told me that your uterus like any other muscle, contracts and releases. Just like a leg cramp :)

I have been having them since about a week ago (16+2 today). I actually just had my appt with my doctor and she said that is normal. As long as I am not having continuous contractions, I'm ok. She also said that having 2-3 a day is ok. I'm being put on progesterone since I have had preterm labor with both my kids.

Contractions??!!
