brown discharge

i am pregnant with my second child. im only 5 weeks 5days but am having light brown color discharge. that part didnt scare me as bad as when i went to wipe, i had a dark brown stringy booger looking thing on the tp. is this normal? my hubby and I have been ttc for a year and half and I'm so scared I'm miscarrying. I do have a doc appt Monday. but I'm freaking out?
