Im the type of person, who is able to disagree on something, but still be able to value your thoughts and opinions on other topics. For instance, say you can’t stand cats, and give me every reason in the world about why they suck, and I completely disagree with you. That doesn’t mean I won’t listen to anything you have to say about any topic. Nor does it mean I can’t agree with you on anything else. I’m also the kind of person who will defend you, even if I don’t usually agree with/or like you, if I feel that you’re right.

The reason I ask is because a constant theme I see in CC is that a person’s credibility can be lost to some of you guys if they should happen to have an opinion that’s not in everyone’s favor.

Now I’m not making this post to complain at all I promise. No one is entitled to be tolerated if you don’t want to.

The question I’m asking is this; if people don’t agree with you on every subject is any common ground erased for you? Or can you still relate to each other in different forms? And say you don’t like someone does that mean anything they say is garbage and that you’d change your views on things if they DID agree with you on something?
