It seems that when people hear single mother they jump right to the negatives. Where’s the dad? Oh that must be hard! And so forth.

But I genuinely love being a single mom, sometimes I feel bad that I can’t give my son a “perfect normal family” but really what is normal?

Because this is our normal! All my son has ever been used to is it being me and him, and sure it can be stressful but it’s all worth it. I really do love my single mom life, and honestly it makes me feel so good when I see how well mannered and smart my son is and I can proudly say that I, all by myself, raised him that way!
