I’m 37 weeks and 4 days and my doctor told me tonight I’ve tested positive for group b strep; I’m a carrier. This is my first pregnancy at 35 years old and the only thing positive so far has been my blood type... and now this 😔 I’m feeling worried and everything I read online is NOT helping. Obviously my doctor will start me on antibiotics in my IV and I’m to call as soon as my water breaks but, is this something I should really worry a lot about or?? My doctor seems to be pretty passive about it... I’m having a harder time not thinking about it.
