Seeing a Hispanic guy, what should I expect?

I’ve been seeing a Hispanic guy for 2 weeks and he’s from El Salvador and I’m African American. We moved pretty fast (we both agreed, not bad though) and so far I’ve noticed that he’s VERY into sex and is SO passionate. The best sex I’ve had. He opens doors for me, pays when we go out, texts me daily to check in. I’ve spent a few nights at his house but he lives with his parents. He says they want to meet me but I’m nervous since we’re still new and I don’t know if we’re official yet. Just curious about  anyone else’s experience seeing a Hispanic guy and what to expect. (We’re both 22)

I’m bias but I think us latins are the best in bed 🤷🏻‍♀️ We have a different type of love that’s very...intense.
But unfortunately, our family’s are...crazy. I know I’m mixed mex and my boyfriends full mexican and his family is very against not “polluting the bloodline.” If he’s an only child, you may hear this a lot.
If his abuela calls you Gordita, it’s a term of endearment. She’s not actually calling you fat.
If they offer you another plate, say yes. Even if you’re not hungry. Cause then they’ll wonder if you really like their food and that argument is always a losing one.
Learn to dance and try to pick up as much Spanish as you can.
But most of all, just be happy, and remember that while his family may be overbearing, you’re dating him and not his parents.

I agree with previous posters. My man is Salvadoran and he’s the sweetest man ever. He’s very passionate about me and very caring. He did tell me in the beginning his family wanted him to marry a Salvadoran girl, but once they met me they loved me they are very nice. But yes learn as much Spanish as you can, it will bring you closer to his family and the more you are around them the more you will feel comfortable.

My mom is from El Salvador, family life is typically very important. Extended family is actually part of the “nuclear family” so don’t be overwhelmed when you go meet his family and there’s more people than you anticipated. I haven’t dated a Salvadorean man but based on the treatment my cousins give to their SO, they are also complete gentlemen and very respectful; if my aunts found out otherwise, my cousins would have to answer to the older women in the family. Also, I have found that my Salvadorean family is very accepting and welcoming, my husband is African American and they LOVE him. Best of luck, don’t be nervous to meet his family they seem to have raised a gentleman.

I’m African American and my husband is Mexican we’ve been together for 3 years . He’s the best I’ve ever had in all aspects . I adore his family and they adore me as well they’ve welcomed me with opened arms .

Eckkk, I’m Salvadoran and Mexican - Spanish is my first language. 
And I cannot stand or deal with the men from Central America period. 
In my experience, they’re so chauvinistic! It’s crazy. 
I thank god my lucky stars I didn’t marry one of my own. 
Don’t have not one good thing to say about them, we’ll just that they’re hard workers but other than that - horrible experiences from me and those I’ve witnessed.

just remember mexican and Salvadoran culture are different. if gradma calls you gordita is because she thinks you are fat but she says it in the nicest way, people dont get offended by that. you dont have to force yourself to eat more than you want. just telling them the dish taste good when you try it is good enough, if you get sick from over eating they are gonna feel bad about it. you gotta learn some spanish, that is a must indeed. :) and he sounds like a very sweet guy, good for you!
