Do u guys think a more intimate gender reveal with ur parents and in laws is better then a huge party?

Husband are stuck between making it just for us and immediate family members or inviting the whole fam bam so no one feels left out. But we have 3 different families so it would be super expensive

I just let my mom, sister, mil, sil, our four kids and dh be there when we found out the gender. I liked it.

I think gender reveal parties have gotten out of hand! I personally need to spend my money on things to prepare for the baby & be prepared for maternity leave. For my "gender reveal party" I went over to my grandma's. My brother, SIL, sister & 2 aunts came over. We ordered pizza & I bought a $5 confetti popper that looked like a champagne bottle from Wal-Mart & that's how we told everyone on my side of the family the gender. It was still cute & a memorable way to celebrate!

I had mine last Friday with my mother and father in law, sister in law with her boyfriend and then my parents and brother with his girlfriend. I really liked it this small and intimate.

I wanted mine small but didn’t want to leave people out who wanted to be apart It so I posted on fb asking who wanted to attend and my small party ended up huge! It was still a really great time I don’t regret it at all! Loved everyone who really wanted to be there sharing it with me.
