Hi all! First off, I do really like and trust my doctor. From the start of my pregnancy, her stance has been that the main pregnancy association recommends amnios are done for women over 35. Other than my age, 35, nothing else makes me high risk. I had the nuchal translucency test, the Verify test, and just had my quad screen done. All came back normal. My doctor seems reluctant to give me advice beyond what the association recommends. I'm not big on getting the amnio because of the risk but I'm not totally against it. Anyone over 35 get any guidance on this? Just want to do the right thing!
