How did God create the sun on the FOURTH day?

Question

Do you believe that the creation myth suggests that god created the world in 7 literal days? If so how was he measuring those days without the sun having been created until the fourth day? 
If the story of creation is accurate, then humans and land animals were created on the 6th day. So what about dinosaurs? There's evidence of them and they existed and expired long before humans came around. None of it makes sense. 
Also if creation is true then where did languages come from? Humans haven't always had sophisticated forms of communication. But the Bible presents it as if Adam and eve already knew how to communicate and spoke amongst one another. What language did they speak? 
Ah so many questions unanswered but if you could start with the sun thing my brain could stop hurting for a while.

To answer your question about time: 
 2 Peter 3:8, God views time a lot differently than we humans do. 
Dinosaurs:
Job 40:15-19, as well as other mentions of “dragons” throughout the Bible with descriptions that line up with dinosaur
Language:
Read Genesis 11. It explains the Tower of Babel and how different languages came to be. I believe that in Heaven, there is only 1 language; the original language which would be the language Adam and Eve First spoke.

God didn’t need the sun and moon to distinguish what a day was. He created them to be a sign of how long a day was, or to count years for us. In this verse He just called LIGHT as DAY. God is light, therefore it might be always  be day for Him or as long as He wants it to be.
As for dinosaurs, in Genesis, it just states that age created all creatures in the sky and on land and in the sea. I’m not sure if the Bible specifically states any evidence on it. But remember the whole Earth was flooded when Noah had to build the ark, maybe dinosaurs didn’t make the cut when it came to saving two of every thing.
I honestly think that there just some things we are not meant to understand, but just meant to trust in what God says or doesn’t say about them. What need to know is what is stated in the Bible. Not more, not less. Yes we can ask questions and wonder and imagine, but don’t let it deter you from the truth. The truth is there is supreme being, the one true living God, that created you and knew you before you even born. He knew you’re imperfections and still calls you perfect. He loves you more than anything and wants a relationship with you. That’s all.

This is actually a really good question without a clear-cut answer. Scholars have been unable to formally come to a conclusion on what the Bible is saying here exactly. Before anyone calls me a heretic, let me explain: Genesis 2:5-8 completely contradicts the order of creation outlined in Genesis 1. Genesis 2 says man was made before plants and animals and God THEN planted the Garden of Eden. Are these two contradictory? Probably not because it’s safe to assume the author isn’t a total imbecile. So then, what is it? There are many theories, so I’ll just present my opinion at this point. There’s the creation ANE (Ancient Near East) theory which states that the Bible, while historically and scientifically accurate, is not a book about history or science, but theology. Therefore, it will say events like this to demonstrate a point, not claim some truth. Therefore, who knows the actual order of creation. The ANE theory says establishing a created order isn’t the point. The point is comparing God to Ancient Near East creation myths that depicted humans as afterthoughts and slaves to gods and He world was formed in violence. In the biblical creation story, the world is formed in peace, love, and wild artistic creativity and man is the crowned jewel of this creation. There’s no facts present other than the claim that God created everything. All beyond that, according to the ANE creation theory, is theological poetry to demonstrate the point that humanity is loved by God and the world wasn’t born of blood therefore, in a sense, the spilling of blood is unnatural and not the way things are supposed to be. One point to further this: ever notice how day 1 was about light and dark, day 2 was ocean and sky, then day 3 was land. And then day 4 filled what was created in day 1. Day 5 filled what was created in day 2. Day 6 filled what was created in day 3. It is the creation, then the fulfilling. Poetry. Again, this is one of many theories and I believe this as an opinion, but it’s an interesting one to me.

I think that if you read the Bible and especially the gospels, it becomes obvious that very little should be taken literally, especially in regard to time and other measurements. I don't personally believe that creation took place in 6 literal days as they are marked in our time (with the revolution of the Earth around the sun, or sunrise and sunset, and since this is sort of your question, how can you mark a day without the sun?). It is not that I do not believe that God is capable of creating the world in 6 literal days, I just think that God created an orderly and understandable world that we live in and it doesn't make  much sense to insist that creation was this super fast process and then everything else follows the basic rules of biology and physics. If you really reas Genesis from a theological standpoint, there is no real clear definition of time and A LOT of things seem to be happening all at once but also very spread out. I think that time in those accounts just isn't interpretted the way it is now and also was not as important.

I would really like to understand your point? Like these are great questions, but I’ve read through the comments and people have provided proficient evidence. It’s evident that you don’t believe in God, so I’m just curious as to why do you even care...? Like literally every comment is something that adds to your post, yet your responses are very passive aggressive in that, you’re trying SO hard to debunk someone else’s religion. It’s like you’re lowkey shaming Christianity but you’re trying to be nice about it. If you really care to know the answers of these questions, take it upon yourself to ask a priest, someone who studied theology and can go in depth.... or even a quick Google search goes a long ass way sis. 🙄
