Is foley balloon insertion painful?

I’m getting induced on Tuesday night, and nervous to know what I’m in for. Is it painful having the balloon inserted? 
Explain further if you can remember :)

Nurse here: never had one myself but have placed several. The balloon is not inflated until after it is in your bladder. It is simply a tube until then. You should feel some pressure, but it should not be painful. Hope that helps!

I don’t remember much from the insertion part of it so I don’t think it was too bad lol. I do remember it working quickly though. Mine fell out when I was peeing and I thought I did something wrong because of how fast it went lol.

lady who placed mine was a student. it seriously hurt so bad i cried. id rather do labor again than have that placed. the foley bulb was the worst part of my whole birthing experience
