Cheap meals?

Does anyone have any cheap but good meal ideas? We usually don't do this but we have so much going on these next few months that we need to save every dollar we can, so Im making a meal calendar and need ideas.

Cheesy Salsa Chicken! It’s so cheap but so good. I use a crockpot but if you don’t have one you could do it in a pot/pan. Season a couple of chicken breasts with whatever you like (I use garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper) and pour a jar of salsa on top of them and let them cook until the chicken is done and shred-able. Shred the chicken and mix it back into the salsa. Make one of the $1 spanish rice packets from walmart (added a pic so you know what I’m talking about) and then add the salsa and chicken on top of the rice and add some shredded cheese. It’s really cheap and really easy but it’s yummy and filling.

Can of beans, Mexican rice in a bag you heat in microwave, ground turkey/ground beef/ chicken/ground chicken for taco bowl
Baked potato & ground chicken/shredded chicken mixed in bbq sauce.. make your baked potato with all the fixings and add the bbq chicken on top 
Noodles, ground turkey/ground beef, spaghetti sauce

These are fairly cheap and relatively healthy (nutrient dense foods, not including expensive produce): 
Egg roll in a bowl - coleslaw mix, ground beef, a few spices and soy sauce. 
Vegetable fried millet with frozen veggies
Chili (cans of tomatoes, maybe some meat, spice package, beans)
Eggs (served any way)
Oatmeal
Tuna sandwiches 
Soups (bean soup, vegetable soup, real ramen)

When my fiancé and I were struggling, we use to get some meals from dollar tree and or save a lot. You'd be surprised at how well dollar tree meals actually turn out, and save a lot is super cheap also. Especially the meat they have. You can go on Pinterest and search dollar tree meal recipes and try any you'd like 🙂 that's all I did, and I honestly couldn't tell a difference.

taco spaghetti! it's a casserole but u cook it on the stove and throw it in the oven takes about 45 min to make and cost about 10 bucks but it's good and it's a lot of food!

Don’t know where you’re from but we eat Lima beans and cornbread as a meal sometimes. Also, taco soup.. meat, corn, black,red, and pinto beans and taco seasoning that’s like a $6 meal that you can eat on for supper and lunch the next day.

Basically anything with pasta or rice, so like fried rice (buy veggies frozen), or spaghetti or any other pasta dish. Buy things in bulk because it’s cheaper. Meat is a pretty big expense so definitely but that in bulk and freeze it if you eat meat, or try and avoid it, you don’t need it in all meals
