Should I take Accutane?

I’ve suffered with acne for YEARS like I don’t remember not having one pimple on my face since I was like 12 years old. I’ve tried everything from drugstores, Sephora, cheap stuff expensive stuff etc. nothing worked. Tried using natural remedies for months and that also didn’t work. I went to multiple dermatologist and tried prescription (taking doxycycline pills, Retin-A, epiduo, etc.) which worked a little bit but dried my skin out EXTREMELY and didn’t completely get rid of my acne and I would have to keep taking those pills (which would make me sick & have side effects) for the rest of my life bc as soon as I would stop it would come back again. Before I didn’t really think my skin was bad to resort to Accutane but now a days my problem isn’t just w normal acne (Whiteheads) like I never get those it’s always be getting those ones that are underneath the skin and cystic and they hurt and can’t pop them which is why I feel like I should take Accutane. Now I don’t wanna make any ill advised decision before I go taking an extreme medication like that which is why I wanted to ask from REAL people who have used it and see ur opinion to see if it is worth it

I’m just so tired of this battle w acne I’m 20 years old still struggling w this when all my friends have past this stage and have super clear skin. It has ruined my confidence and self esteem and I’m tired of dealing with it and now I will do anything to get rid of it even if that means taking a extreme medicine like Accutane so what do you guys think?
