anybody waiting until 12weeks to tell their family?

since we had a chemical in october and a miscarriage in december, me and my bf agreed to say that we will wait until 12weeks to tell our family. telling them that we lost the baby was really painful, we don't want to go through this again. Who's waiting too? 🙂

We decided to tell our parents next week, at 5 weeks. We waited last time and ended up losing the baby and then told them afterwards. They were upset they missed it and we kind of felt bad. 😔 we will announce to Facebook between 10-14 weeks.

Yes, I waited last time and I was glad that I did, because I lost it very early on. Now I want to wait until 12 weeks.

I am. We had a PMP miscarriage in October. It was hard telling everyone. So hoping this time the morning sickness isn’t bad and I can hide it. Haven’t even told my family we were given the okay to try again so it will be a shock.

We are! We may, emphasis on the May, tell our parents at 9 weeks after our 8 week appointment (which is our first appointment). My first pregnancy I had morning sickness for 24 weeks and now I have a toddler so I might need extra help. But we definitely are telling anyone before than. 
We love keeping it a secret bc it is hard! Which makes it even more exciting. It’s nice to share a special secret for a little bit.

I’m waiting until 12 weeks and first scan to tell the wider family and friends but I am telling my mother and MIL next week (7 weeks) my mother would want to be there if anything goes wrong. I hope it doesn’t 1st time mamma bear 💖
