They freeze my eggs 🥚 ???

I have egg retrieval last feb 27, they collect 24 eggs but they freeze them and they said i will come back to them on my next period on day 2,, how they freeze my eggs with out knowing have it fertilized or they will process on my next period??? Anyone same boat as mine... im bit confused 🤷‍♀️

They will have to thaw them in order to fertilize them.

If your eggs were frozen then they are not fertilized. Fertilization can only happen with sperm.

Well they didn't freeze my eggs with my cycle. They did the ER then fertilized those eggs with my husband's sperm. We had to wait to see how many would survive and go to blast. We did a fresh transfer and the embryos we didn't use were frozen.
