I had one shot of methotrexate last week for an ectopic. I was 6 weeks. I passed mostly everything on Thursday. I’m still bleeding, but it’s not even as bad as a period. My hcg levels have went from 1333 down to 590 in a week, so the methotrexate worked. They said they’ll just monitor my levels weekly until they reach 0. My question is, when can I start taking prenatals again? We want to try again, but not for like 3 months since my dr told me that the methotrexate takes folate out of your body. I just want to make sure my body is healthy before ttc again. Can I start taking vitamins again now or do I wait until my levels reach 0? Thanks!
