Birth Control or Fertility meds?

I was wondering what others have taken to help them start their period. I have PCOC and haven't had a period in almost 6 months so my doctor is making me decide which medicine I want to try next and I was wondering what helped others.

My doctor believe in trying to do things natural first before medications (not a crazy all natural doc, but as naturally as possible within reason) so he had me loose a bit of weight before he would prescribe femar/letrozol for me. I got pregnant the month before i were to start on the medication, after loosing 10-12kg.

I would consider letrozole. I finally got my period last August after a year and a half (no idea how) but then my period was very irregular. The beginning of January my doctor put me on letrozole and said I will get a period in a month. Like clockwork I did, then I took it cycle days 4-8 and it worked! Got my bfp this past weekend. I also started to somewhat watch what I ate but I firmly believe it was all thanks to letrozole.

If you’re ttc then get provera. Not ttc go with birth control.
