Get Prosecco, much cheaper than champagne! Or as the other lady said, Asti Spumante works a treat too, although it is a little on the sweet side!

Michelle by Chateau Ste. Michelle- we use it for every special occasion and it’s reasonably priced and they have a rosé version or regular brüt, and a dry brut (but avoid that one if you want sweet)

We did a Spumante from a local winery. I like really sweet wines though- I can’t stand dry champagne. We were also looking at a sparkling moscato.
