Ladies I need your help!

I need to know how soon it takes to ovulate after a miscarriage. My hcg was down to 8 last Monday. I started miscarriage the Tuesday before. Everything I have read it says to count first day bleeding during miscarriage as CD 1. Is that correct? I haven't got an LH surge yet from OPK.
