Yes, my first cycle was negative too, so i did a 2nd cycle and i am now 24 weeks pregnant with a little girl. She is my first little frozen embryo and i have 2 still remaining. i was absolutely devastated when my first cycle was negative too, and then during my 2WW with #2, i got so so sick and i was very stressed as i also have a 15 year old daughter, so i was sure the 2nd cycle wouldnt have a positive outcome so i lost all hope and stopped stressing, i got the phone call and the nurse gave me the amazing news which nearly made me fall off my chair. try not to stress too much, it will happen. goodluck with your second cycle. sending lots of positive thoughts your way. x
Ivf #1 failed
I recently found out my first ivf cycle failed 😔 it has been very hard news to take and getting my period made it feel real but I’m moving forward and doing another round of ivf. I read the book it starts with the egg book. Does anyone have success stories of their 2nd ivf working? I’m very concerned because I don’t think I can go through more than 2 rounds of ivf

So sorry, M. Will you be trying again? We are meeting our dr today and I’m hoping for more info on her approach that will make me feel a bit better. We are thinking of taking a trip first and then doing it on my cycle after.

I am so sorry and sending you lots of love. That’s great to hear you have read it starts with the egg, after our first failed FET i re-read it and started shopping around for the supplements recommended in the book. We got our failed news on nov 1st and I started taking 11 different supplements starting that day. We started another cycle in Jan and currently 9 weeks pregnant. I took the following supplements: prenatal, DHA, folic acid, vit c, d and e, inositol, NAC, coq-10, alpha lipoic acid, and freeze dried açaÃ. I also had my husband on a good multi-vitamin with folate as his genetic screening came back with minor MTHFR. He also took the vit a, c, d as well as DHA, coq-10, zinc and freeze dried açaà capsules. The freeze dried açaà capsules was a recommendation of another fertility doctor I interviewed. He said we both needed to be on them and it had to be the brand perfect (you can find on amazon).I know how upsetting this time can be, I found that researching and building myself up for success the next time really helped me. That’s wonderful! I was also going to mention I changed my diet as well. I adopted the Whole 30 way of eating (no carbs, dairy, sugar or alcohol). Also little things like removing my nail polish and stopping the hair dye at the roots (painted highlights only) I think helped! Sending you all the best luck in the world!

Thank you!! I have been trying t decide what to add my husband takes a multivitamin and I have been taking prenatals and d3 but I’m always nervous taking anything because I have a very sensitive stomach and severe acid reflux I might add the coQ10 supplement and I have changed my diet

Thanks I will look into those! I read about those in the book but with all the fertility medicines I was nervous about taking more and prayers to you my next ivf round is in April also!!
