Came in at 36 weeks and 5 days for regular weekly check up, blood pressure was a little high to I was sent to the labor and delivery floor for observation where I was told they’d keep me for 15 minutes to observe me.

Blood pressure rose and my doctor told me I have prehypertension/hypertension and I’d need to be admitted.

And apparently whenever I thought my little boy was just stretching was actually contractions!

My cervix is closed but I’ve been put on an IV and pitocin to soften my cervix and get the ball rolling.

We should have our little boy no later than Wednesday! Little man I currently weighing in at 6 pounds 8 ounces with a steady heart beat of 152 bmp 🤗
