Accuracy of early detection tests?

Hello, I’m new to this app/group. I’m 32....today actually. My husband and I are ttc, this is our first month. I’m excited to see if I’m pregnant and considered picking up one of the early detection pregnancy tests. Bad idea? I’ve heard stories of it being negative and 2 days later being positive. My period is due on Saturday. Advice?

Wait till you’ve missed a period. And buy a shit ton of the $0.89 tests from Walmart. The other tests are not worth the money, save it for diapers. Good luck! Don’t be discouraged if it takes awhile. We’re all in the same boat.

Agreed- wait till the day of missed period and get cheap tests. You’ll drive yourself crazy trying to test now and no point in spending $12 on one test when they all read the same
