gender reveal?

Okay so we can find out from tomorrow, but im not sure if i want it to be just go in scan and done or if i ask them to write it down and have more of a surprise? with my daughter we just did the scan and it was really lovely and intimate but im thinking surprise this time? thoughts???

We were going to do a party (mostly because my husband wanted to find out with this family) but it didn’t work out. Too many people were busy and we couldn’t wait longer than a week to find out :) I’m def not complaining haha I wanted to find out only with my hubby.
So we are going to have the ultrasound tech write it down and we will open it together at home. It’s our first kid so trying to make it as special as possible!

We had it written down ans did a small reveal with family. It was nice we just did dinner and then this

My husband, children and I found out at the appointment. We then told our family via Facebook live video just with our family. We had our boys shoot us with paint filled squirt guns. It was neat. We live an hour from where we got the ultrasound done so we stopped at a friends house and she shot the video and let us use her front yard. We were too impatient to wait til we got home to tell everyone. Our family was chomping at the bit to know. We already have two boys so everyone was hoping for a girl. And we got a girl! 😍

I personally think the gender reveal parties are silly. It's just not our thing. That being said if it's something you want to do and you will enjoy it then why not!
