Baby shower? Or baby sprinkle? Or neither?

Okay, so this is going to be my second baby... another girl. 
My first is about 5 years old and with moving a couple of times in between I either donated stuff or gave stuff away. I have zero items for baby and will have to start from scratch? Will it be weird to have a baby shower? I hear that people only do it for their first. 
Then I heard about having a baby sprinkle.... what is the difference? 
Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed!

I’m doing a baby sprinkle! It’s basically a baby shower without all the bells and whistles. Seems like women who have had children already, esp kids close in age, choose this option. Which is why i am doing it. Lol my son just turned 3 and I still have a good bit of his stuff!

My first was born in 2011 and we’ve moved a lot, wasn’t planning on having another till two years ago when we started trying. We’re having a crawfish boil party/sprinkle .. there won’t be any games or any of that bc I don’t like them I just like the idea of everyone getting together and celebrating. Everyone can bring a gift though I bought most of what she needs already

I had my first in 2008, girl, and my second in 2016, boy, so I definitely had a shower now with my second boy we are having another shower. My mom and MIL are planning it again. We have everything in bigger items we need but my first son and my second son are born in different seasons so the only think I can really use from my last is sleepers and onesies. I’m unsure if I’m gna use cloth diapers again but if I don’t I’m gna suggest a diaper raffle!! Celebrate your baby!!
