I think there parents who shouldn't be parents at 30 and people who shouldnt be parents at 17, I think any one who is willing to step up, take responsibility, and do what it takes to provide, care, and love a child is old enough and mature enough to have one! That's just my opinion though.

I honestly hate that people are so judgemental. I'm 21 and I used to not want to get pregnant Bc I didnt want to deal with the opinions and thoughts of others. Now if it happens it happens . People don't know my story and I think kids are blessings

It's not wrong but for me I want to become a pediatric nurse so I think having a child now when I'm 17 will set me back alittle bit on my future plans

Personally I'm 17 right now, and I'm 7w 2d pregnant, and at my age: Yes I'm young! But having a high maturity level is a great plus. I'm in a long term relationship, I have my head on straight. I'm well grounded, I'm ahead in school and going to graduate early. I have a good stable job for me now. I do have plans for a better life and to further my education. I have goals in my life that I will succeed! I raised my lil brother and sister, due to alcoholic drug abusers as parents and I've seen alot growing up and my childhood was taken from me. But it has taught me alot. So due too all of that I am perfectly fine and have not ruined my life. I'm a strong and beautiful young lady. If i was just a teen mom that had no realistic goals, got pregnant from some stranger at a party, no job, high school drop out, and a low maturity level, then maybe you could have room to talk. My due date is 1/29/16 and I do turn 18 before my little blessing shows up.  My bday is 9/2. I can't be anymore happy till my little baby is in my arms💕💕💕

I'm 17 years old and I already know now if I ever ended up pregnant my boyfriend and I would both be killed by a slow, painful death by our parents. My boyfriend would probably ask me to abort because we've had the discussion before because I felt it was necessary even though we are super careful and use multiple methods for birth control, no matter what, when you have sex there is always a chance of pregnancy no matter what you're doing.
