When to go to the doctor?

I took 2 pregnancy tests yesterday and they were both positive. So my question is, when should I have my first doctor visit? I don't want to go in for no reason just to spend money and they don't tell me anything besides " You are pregnant". It's too early to see anything anyways ( I'm probably 1-3 weeks along.)

Just call them. They will tell you when they want to see you. Some like to see you earlier than others.

Your weeks start at when you had your last period.(on average). So switch over to glow nurture and it should help you tell how many weeks you are based on your last period ☺️. I'm not having my first appointment until a little after 16 weeks. I'm 14 and a half now. I would highly suggest having it earlier. I was really dissapointed to be scheduled at 16 weeks 😞.

Mine wouldn't see me till I was 9 weeks. And you're not 1-2 weeks pregnant lol the baby wouldn't of even implanted yet. You're at least 3-4 weeks.

My docs in the past wouldn't see me until at least 8 weeks. However, I'm considered high risk now so they want me to come the minute I think I'm pregnant now. It doesn't hurt to go ahead and call to see what their policy is. If they won't see you until 8 weeks, 10 weeks, whatever you can go ahead and schedule it for the recommended time. Some doctors take weeks to get in with anyway.

asap and if you have insurance (medi-cal) you dont pay anything and they help you set up with an obgyn n such and tell you more about your pregnancy and how dar along you really are or atleast thats how it is in Paradise (Butte County)

I went at 8 week ! At that point we could hear heart beat, and see Abby moving!
