How important is AMH results?

Question

I got all my fertility tests done and all was good and in normal range (LH and FSH were in normal ranges for example) but my AMH was very low (0.26 and only tested once). 
I was told my only chances (and still would be low) was 
IVF
.
In doing some homework, I realized all my other tests were normal. Went for second opinion and waiting for follow up appt. first appt was with very reputable fertility clinic.
Thoughts?!

I was tested in September and my FSH was high (21) and my AMH was low (0.3). My doctor said we had to work aggressively to get me pregnant. We were going to do one round of IUI with me taking shots and then if that didn’t work, we would move onto IVF. Before I could even start the treatment, I was pregnant. And with twins! I couldn’t believe it. I’m not 23 weeks and so far everything is good. Don’t lose hope!! Doctors know a lot but they don’t know everything and sometimes our bodies are mysterious. I think Amh is for ovarian reserve so low number means not many eggs and of low quality. Sorry

Hi, how long have you been trying and how old are you and hubby? 
Also have you ever get your Vit D checked? 
I read that low vit D is linked to low AMH and infertility. 
If you don’t want to start IVF, you can look “low AMH” topic on here and you’ll see some people has been successfully increased their AMH level by taking some supplements.

it does mean that u have less eggs. i read about women trying clomid in high doses or femera or injectibles but not sure how low their amh levels were. ask ur doc if those would help u?
