Induction and Colostrum Expression

I have read that expressing and saving colostrum in preparation for new baby can be helpful if they are going to be born early term (37-38+6) due to latch issues that can come along with that. Has anyone expressed and saved early? I am thinking about getting a single manual pump and using it to start with. Any advice is welcome 💙 (And yes I know that this can cause contractions in some women and if that happens I will not be doing this) Note: I'm not pumping to induce myself. I am being induced due to health issues, and will need to have surgery immediately after.
