Have you moved your toddler to the other bedroom while you used their old bedroom as a nursery for the new baby?

I guess I just feel bad "kicking out" my toddler from the room he's had his whole life and using it as the nursery for the new baby. I mean, it makes logical sense to do this because everything is just... a baby setting. Idk. Plus, I think is a TAD quieter and the book/decorations shelf is in the nursery (when my toddler starts using a bed, he's gonna start getting out of bed himself and trash the room). The twin size bed / guest bed is also in the other room.

I think if you make the bedroom move a fun, growing up thing it'll be fine and is understandable

We’re still contemplating having a second child but already moved most of the nursery stuff to the spare room. My son is 19 mths and understand the place where he sleeps is his room.

We moved baby girl about a month ago. Baby boy is due in 3 weeks and won’t be officially using the nursery until he’s at least 6 months, but we wanted to make the transition early so it’s not like baby “kicked her out.”

We did this. We moved my toddler to the smaller room because I couldn’t fit two cribs in the small room for the twins. We did it well before the babies were born and made it really fun. We never mentioned needing the room for his new siblings, only that the other room was so much cooler! I ordered new spider man sheets, curtains, a rug, and two new Spider-Man toy boxes. He also moved to a twin bed because I needed his toddler bed to convert back to a crib for one of the babies. I also got him cool Spider-Man wall art.

Why not put the baby in the other room instead of making the toddler switch rooms its not that hard to move a twin bed how would you feel if someone said you need to give up your room for the convenience of someone else knowing it would be so much easier to just use the empty room for them instead of turning this childs life around they already have a new baby to get used to why a new room on rop of that 
My kids room share because the other room gets too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter our house is very old and has almost no insulation and the other room was the towns first general store it has the orig windows and door they just put caulking in the door crack
