Passing down kids underwear??

Question

Those of you with older kids (esp 2 or more)  have you pasted down/ held on to underwear? 
I'm 7 weeks pregnant with #2. My 1st is 3.5 and just growing out of her 2t/3t underwear. I'll all about hand me downs in general, but torn when it comes to underwear. I'm cleaning out her underwear drawer today ;)

They are in good condition. Our washing machine has a steam function, so I could steam clean them if we have another girl. Thoughts??

If they are your other daughters and they are clean whats wrong with it? Just clean them. Saves $$.

Same gender? Same family? Same clothes. Seriously if they're clean and don't have stains there's nothing wrong with it

I don't see a problem with it. I've saved my oldest daughter's 2t3t undies to use for my second daughter (though she has special needs and may not be potty trained in time to use them.). Besides, people resell cloth diapers. Those have certainly seen worse days!

You mean somebody will give you their kids underwear? Or it's just from an older sibling to a younger one? 
Me and my sisters shared all of out underwear till out teen years,then each fit her own..so I guess it depends on families..I see it as normal.

I gave some to a friend my daughter wore like once. She picked out boy underwire for potty training and once she was trained I had to get rid of them. I don't see anything wrong with it if they're in excellent condition, no rips or stains. And if it's passed amongst two people who know each other well enough.

I pass down my underwear to my little sisters still as long as they are nice looking. Lol

I would steam clean them and if they are in good condition-- why not? :) it's not like the underwear came from a stranger, it's from a sister...

Oh no. Every potty training child deserves their own big boy big girl underwear. I could understand pants, shirts, dresses, but undies and socks (unless they are newborn socks) should not be handed down.

I personally wouldn't just because no matter how well they had been cleaned I wouldn't want to wear hand me down underwear and so I wouldn't for my kids either. However to each their own.
