When do you stop using a changing table?

What do you do when your baby outgrows their changing table? Do you just put the changing pad on the floor?

I love our changing table and pad. My son is 19 months and we still use it for diaper changes. It’s so much easier to keep him still on there over the floor or bed. Plus I don’t risk getting poop anywhere except the pad!!

I've never used a changing table or a changing pad haha both were a waste of money to me. I've always just changed my daughter on our bed, the floor of her nursery or the floor of the living room, depending on where we are in the house at the time.

If the child is too big for a changing table its prolly time to start potty training.

I’ve never ever used one. I have a diaper caddy (it comes with a foldable changing pad) that i fill with diapers, wipes, diaper cream and I just bring that with me wherever we are in the house and use it on the floor, bed, couch, etc.

My son will be 2 in April and I still use it. I like knowing that is the ONLY area of the house that has been subjected to baby poop. I’ll probably keep it going until he’s potty trained.

You can always use a changing pad liner, like the Munchkin one, since it’s flat and waterproof!
