Will my belly piercing close up and go back to normal?

I’ve had my belly button pierced for  two years now, I just removed the piercing today bc I no longer want it. Will I be left with this ugly hole forever? 🙄 when will go close up ?

Mine is like half closed, I haven’t worn a belly ring in the LONGEST time but I just stuck a ring in to see if it would go through and it was a struggle and there was some blood but it went through. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had my bottom belly button ring for 5 months and took it out because I didn’t like the placement. It’s been out for 3 months now... I still have this.

Sometimes they close up, sometimes they don’t. 
I used to have a Monroe piercing in high school. I took it out at least 7 years ago and the hole is still there lol but my nose piercing will close up within a few hours if I leave it out.

It’ll always be there. I took mine out when I found out I was pregnant with my son, when he turned one, I was tired of how ugly the hole was so I tried to see if it was still open and a ring went right back through with no problem 🙄
