Unplanned Vbac
So the hospital in my town doesn’t do vbacs (vaginal birth after cesarean). My doc is totally for them tho. I have had 2 csections so far. I would love to deliver naturally to avoid going through a major surgery again. The thing is although my doc is for them the hospital is not and therefore I would have to completely labor at home until I was probably 8-9 centimeters dilated. And even then I’m not guaranteed a natural delivery unless I absolutely refuse until I “have” to push.
Right now I’m just weighing my options. I feel nervous about laboring at home alone and not knowing what’s going on with baby.
Can anyone who has had a vbac give me some thoughts, reassurance or anything really! Or am I just being crazy and I should just continue with a scheduled csection.
Thanks ☺️
