Best cloth diaper brands/types?

I’m researching cloth diapering and I honestly have no idea what brands are good. There’s SO many different brands and types it’s a little overwhelming. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Not everything works for every baby, get a few brands and test them. I like bumgenuis, happy beehinds, Alva, and lots of wham diapers

My favourite by far is Bella Luna! Great diapers that hold their value for a long time with the right wash routine and care. A little pricey but can get used ones that are for cheap :)

I bought used. I got mostly bum Genious all in ones and other types but by far through every stage so far bum genius has been the most reliable and transforms perfectly through each stage. A similar style but different brand called lullabye I believe looks and does the same modifications and has slightly different inserts but as baby grew their buttons didn’t work through some of her stages to enable snug fit. There front wings over lap and when they get bigger the overlap becomes either too lose or too tight. FYI

I started with prefolds and fitteds (Green Mountain Diaper workhorses) but now that my baby is three months old, I really like pocket diapers- more than I thought I would. Don’t narrow yourself to one type or brand. You never know what you’ll like. I agree with getting a bunch of different types, if possible. Also, there is somewhat of a learning curve as to what works for your baby. Wash routine may need to be tweaked and sometimes you need a fleece liner or a cloth friendly diaper cream. Sometimes things need to be tweaked a bit. 
I love it and would do it again in a hot second!

my absolute favorite brand is Omaiki it's a Canadian company. I love the AIO'S they're so absorbent and very reliable the only brand I have used with no leaks and no blowouts. perfect for long rides or overnight or just during the day. they're bulky but reliable. the one size runs a little large. they say 8-40lbs but my son is 20ish lbs and using the lowest snap rise. the newborns are 5-15lbs. they also have amazing inserts that are honestly huge like 3 in one and super absorbent I use them in my bum genius pocket diapers because the micro fibre ones they came with are GARBAGE. the omaiki aio and inserts are made with 70% bamboo and 30% oganic cotton. the website always has great deals

We started pockets but then went all in two. Now we use all in ones. Are go to brand is smart bottoms. We love smart bottoms because of the community, variety of prints, and the Organic materials.

I love pocket diapers in general, and my favorite pocket diaper is Sunbaby. They aren’t overly bulky but still absorb a lot (I get them with the bamboo inserts) and wash well.
