I started breaking out in a rash/hives 5 days postpartum. Anyone experiencing something similar? It started on my stomach and spread pretty much everywhere except my face. The only thing that helps is Prednisone. The topical steroids, antihistamines, pine tar soap, etc didn’t touch it.

Dermatologist consults haven’t been consistent. One said it was PG...which I disagree and we haven’t officially tested for it. The others have said that they are just hives and it’s almost impossible to determine what from.

I’m going on about 5 weeks now.

This is my second baby and I didn’t have it with my first. Both were csections. This one because of preeclampsia concerns when my blood pressure went sky high and wouldn’t come down. And they couldn’t induce a VBAC.
