IUD Rant

I had my Marina IUD out on 2/26. Before the removal, I had light spotting on 2/14-2/16. I normally just counted the spotting as my "period" while I was on the Marina because I never had a full period. I had light spotting the day off removal, heavy bleeding the next, and then spotting on and off for the next 3ish days. So basically some form of bleeding from the 26th to 3/1. We BD the 25th, 2nd, and 7th. When would be a good Idea to try and start testing for a positive? I don't want to test too early and get my hopes crushed but I also don't want to test too late either. Haha. (My doctor said it was fine to start trying immediately. I understand that waiting for a few months and a full cycle is ideal so you can better track ovulation and conception.) Thanks! (:
