Question please help

I have a friend who has had two miscarriages they are trying again for a third time this month and she is so afraid of another miscarriage. Her mom had 5 before her 1st born and she thinks she could be the same. Gonna give it another round before going to the doctors. Has anyone had any experiences like this or know of anything to help or what could be going on? Any advice could be useful
