Hi everyone my due date is March 17th but I went in today and had my weekly check up I am dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced and my baby I’d very very low. My OB doesn’t think I’ll make it through the weekend BUT due to my OB going to be out of town on she is inducing me Monday evening if I don’t go into labor before then! Before any negative comments about the baby will come when he’s ready and blah blah blah.

1. I obviously do not want to change OBs now and she will be gone for over a week

2. I run a daycare in my home so having a date has actually took a TON of stress off of me and my parents of my daycare kids they now have the time to find someone to watch their kiddos and a start date back and I don’t have to worry about going into labor while I have multiple kids in my care during the day

All that being said this is my first baby and I am getting SCARED I’m really hoping that he comes on his own this weekend but is there any tips or tricks or things I need to know about being induced to help it

go smoothly I would like to avoid a c section as much as I can.
