Hpt and how soon to test

So this is really really silly question but in this tww I'm going crazy. I know some hpt can be tested 5 days before my missed AF. Should I just wait to test the day of AF? So the end of the tww or can I test after week one? I'm getting really really anxious because things are definitely feeling different in my body and idk if its just the clomid and metformin or if there's finally a little one growing in me.
