What would you do.. Long

Ok so my SO and I have came up on the topic of birth control after we have our second child together. I'm due in November with a little girl, we have a son already and he has a son from a previous relationship, so we both feel our family is complete. He doesn't want anymore at all made it loud and clear, I on the other hand would have 10 kids if allowed ,So the birth control topic comes up, I say he should get a vasectomy since one we both don't like condoms and two he doesn't want anymore, but I know that's not fair. He says to get on birth control or get my tubes tied. The things I've heard from birth control don't sit well with me so for personal reasons I don't want to get on it, and in the past when I was on birth control I just didn't like how I felt ect so no that option is out along with condoms.   I feel I'm wrong for saying he should get a vasectomy since he doesn't want anymore kids. My question I guess is, who is responsible for preventing pregnancy? I know it's both but in this situation what would you do? No nasty comments it's really not necessary in really just wondering what other people would do. Thanks
