what is the difference between menstrual cramps and early pregnancy cramps

Im 6 days late, negative test yesterday. But last night i was cramping and it was radiating towards my back literally all night. The cramps were mild and bareable but just uncomftorble. I want to know from your personal experience if you had this prior to bfp, or just period coming soon. I am 6 days late so this is not pms.

Pregnancy ones last for a few minutes and leave, it doesnt really move to my back but I can feel it in my legs sometimes. When I’m on my period they hurt a little more and they’re pretty consistent. Also if you move a certain way in early pregnancy you can get a cramp and it’ll go away in a minute or two it’s round ligament pain and your uterus expanding. Hope this kind of helped!
